Fragrant Candle: Candied Blossom\n\nThat year, she went to watch performers from afar put on a blade show and lost track of time. The three of them had already agreed to celebrate her birthday together that day.\nSenior Brother Wanshi made a waking bell as his gift, and Raven made a honey-glazed flower cake, Halcyon's favorite sweet. But by the time she returned, the cake had already gone cold.\nClumsy as she was, she tried to warm it over the fire, only to set it on fire instead. A strange fragrance, unlike anything else in the world, rose from the cake.\n...\nIn the end, the three of them shared the charred cake all the same.\nLater, someone made a candle with that very scent. Whenever it is lit again, the memories of that day come flooding back.
